Known Issues and limitations

When using SyncWith to report on Shopify store(s) these are some issues you should be aware of

Updated this week

Transactions

When reporting on transactions from Shopify store(s) only Shopify Payments transaction fees are shown

Transaction fees and related fields (e.g. Transaction fee kind), are only available from Shopify when Shopify Payments was the payment method used by the transaction.

Storefront Analytics

Reporting on analytics about visitors to your Shopify store is not currently supported, this includes things like visitors, sessions, conversion rates etc. See our article on Shopify Analytics

Subscribers

Shopify stores can sell subscription products with recurring charges. SyncWith doesn't currently support reporting on subscriptions or subscribers. We hope to add this in the future.

Missing fields

When reporting on Shopify store(s) with SyncWith some fields are not available for reporting. SyncWith is continually adding more fields to improve our capabilities where possible. Here is a list of some fields that our products do not currently have the ability to report on:

Shipping label cost

If you want to know your store's cost to ship an order, Shopify refers to this as Shipping Labels, and this information is available in Shopify Admin for your store, but its not available (as far as we know) to 3rd parties like SyncWith

SyncWith does have fields like Shipping charges which represent the amount of money your customers pay on each order for shipping, but this isn't the same as the cost you're paying to couriers like UPS and FedEx etc to ship the orders

Presentment currency

This is the currency used at checkout, to pay for a specific order, which might not be the same as the store's primary currency.

Currently SyncWith doesn't support reporting on the presentment (or checkout) currency, instead we report in the store's default (or primary) currency
