Issues connecting SyncWith to 3rd party accounts

Connect SyncWith to marketing, advertising, analytics and ecommerce systems to automate reporting

Updated today

When using SyncWith for Google Sheets or SyncWith for Looker Studio many of our connectors require you to first connect SyncWith to your account on a 3rd party system such as Facebook Ads or Google Analytics.

This article is about some problems that can happen when attempting to connect SyncWith to your 3rd party accounts.

Required permissions missing

The error Required permissions missing means that you completed connecting SyncWith to the 3rd party account, but during that process you didn't agree to (or select) the required permissions that SyncWith needs to run your reports. An example of when this can happen is if you connected SyncWith to Facebook Ads but didn't give check the box to give SyncWith access specifically to your advertising account at Facebook.

Please also see our article about issues you can face connecting SyncWith to Google accounts that describes when this can happen connecting SyncWith to Google Ads or Google Analytics.

You denied access or cancelled the connection process

This happens if you don't complete the process to connect the 3rd party account to SyncWith, either you canceled it or declined it.

No accounts found

SyncWith will report No accounts found if you've successfully connected SyncWith to your 3rd party account, but SyncWith is unable to find any accounts to report on. For example this could happen if you connect SyncWith to your Facebook account, but that Facebook account doesn't have access to any advertising accounts at Facebook, or if you connected SyncWith to your Google account for Google Analytics but that google account doesn't have access to any Google Analytics properties.

Two-step verification required

If you get a Two-step verification required error this is specific to Google Ads, please see our other article about specific issues you can face connecting SyncWith to Google accounts.
