Google Ads read only access

A work around to limit SyncWith's access to be read-only

Updated over a week ago

When connecting SyncWith to Google Ads you'll be required to give SyncWith permission to edit your Google Ads account. This is because this is the only access type that Google Ads provides in this manner.

SyncWith will never ever attempt to edit your Google Ads in any manner whatsoever. SyncWith will simply run the reports you've requested or configured.

Work around

If you'd feel more comfortable, there is a work around:

  1. Setup (or find) another Google account

  2. Invite this new google account to your Google Ads account and give it read only access

  3. Use this new Google account to connect SyncWith to Google Ads

Then, SyncWith will have read-only access.
